‘Tar Graffiti’ - my 2012 contribution to the ‘Focale’ Gallery member exhibition. Not Chinese calligraphy but a road repair done with liquid tar. The road repair was done near my home town in Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. In order to create further doubt among those who know me as spending time in China, it was printed on hand-made Chinese rice paper and signed with a gold leaf and a Chinese stamp in red ink. It worked: a little East meets West moment was created.
